EVENT DETAILS

Even though malaria is preventable, it remains a major threat in the world. The situation is worsened by the resistance to antimalarial drugs, compounded by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic which has made the fight against malaria harder.

This event is organized to add our voices to the global campaign against the deadly disease, especially on the occasion of World Malaria Day, which is observed all over the world in recognition of global efforts that have saved more than 7 million lives since 2000 and provided support to over 20 countries to end malaria for good. This panel discussion will provide the opportunity to reflect on efforts to reach the target of zero malaria with special focus on the 2 most vulnerable groups – women, Children and Girls .

Speakers for the program to represent different perspectives from Grassroots to Global,  including representatives of International organizations.
