INTRODUCTION OF US

Created to challenge inequities and vulnerabilities of women, youth and children

We are a non-profit, non-governmental association (NGO), founded 2019 in Geneva, Switzerland and are hereby governed by articles 60 et seq. of the Swiss civil code.

BDG was created to challenge inequities and vulnerabilities of women, youth and children that prevent the full realization of their fundamental human rights and equal participation in and enjoyment of sustainable development. BDG’s founders were social scientists who were passionate about advocating for those who were left behind on political agendas and by society.

Since its creation BDG dedicates its efforts to stimulate responsible action in order to foster equity between men and women.

Our Main Objectives

To bridge gaps in the achievement of development among women, youth and children by accelerating the achievement of the SDGs. Through the removal of any form of hindrances to their well-being, advancement and equitable access to available quality socio-economic, education, health and other services that can help improve their general status as equal productive members of their families and communities.

Our Vision

We envision a world free from any form of discrimination and inequity. BDGs envisions a world free from any form of discrimination; a world with inclusive participation and inter generational dialogue social innovative solutions for local challenges.

Our Mission

We are determined to work towards bridging the gap between policies and actions at all levels by advocating for and empowering vulnerable groups. BDG advocates for vulnerable groups, works on leadership and capacity building within civil society, mobilizes and brings together different stakeholders.
