BDG believes that local relevant solutions and target group focused
empowerment is key for personal, social, and economic development.
People become independent and free themselves from poverty and
socio economic dependence when they have the freedom of choice
and the capability set to take and critically reflect their actions. We
envision advocacy, stakeholder mobilization and partnerships, as well
as capacity building as transformative tools for creating opportunities
and empowering women, youth and children to become the change
makers and active agents in the shaping of their own life.
